Mental Health Therapy & Counseling for Adults in California and Ohio

WORK WITH HEALING SPACES

Counseling Services

Therapy that honors your lived experience and meets you where you are.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, identity exploration, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy is deeply collaborative and tailored to you. Together, we’ll create a safe space to explore what’s weighing on you, what you want to change, and how to build a life that feels more aligned and less overwhelming.

You don’t have to justify your pain here: your experience is valid, and healing is possible.

We can work through:

  • Anxiety and Panic

  • Grief and loss (including anticipatory, complicated, and disenfranchised grief)

  • Religious trauma, purity culture, and faith deconstruction

  • LGBTQ+ mental health and identity support, including trans affirming treatment

  • Life transitions and burnout

  • Support for medical professionals (nurses, doctors, physical therapy, medical social workers, etc)

  • Support for educators (primary, secondary, and post-secondary staff)

Every client is different, and so is every treatment plan.

I’ll draw from a range of evidence-based modalities to support your goals, including:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

  • CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy)

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Person-Centered Therapy

Most sessions are 50 minutes long, but extended sessions are also available. Please reach out to discuss options!

We'll always talk through the options and choose what feels right for your needs and pace.

  • Sessions Length
Standard sessions are 50–55 minutes. Extended sessions for therapy intensives are also available — we can discuss this during your intake if you’re interested in deeper, accelerated work. These typically need to be booked out in advance, so please reach out so I can make sure we set time aside for longer sessions. Most clients are usually engaging in 2-3 hour sessions, but this is adaptable based on your collaboration with me!

    Session Frequency
Most clients meet weekly or bi-weekly, depending on their needs, goals, and current life circumstances. We'll collaborate to find a rhythm that supports your progress without adding more stress to your schedule.

    Session Format
All therapy is conducted via secure virtual sessions. I’m currently licensed to work with clients located in Ohio and California. Important note: I do not (and will never) use AI tools to record notes for our sessions. Your conversations are kept confidential and private.

  • I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide Superbills that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits.

    Rates:
    Initial Intake: $150 (Ohio) / $175 (California)
    Follow-up Sessions: $125 (Ohio) / $150 (California)

    Payment Options:
Credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA funds, and — for requested in-person sessions — check or cash are accepted. If you’re unsure how to use your HSA or insurance benefits, I’m happy to talk you through it.

    $75 fee
Third missed session: $125 fee (Exceptions may be made for emergencies.)
